A Safe Place

THREE - Women's Drop In Center

Provides a safe environment to build trust with women that are sexually exploited.  We believe that through offering a meal, a place to shower and non judgmental care we will be able to build the trust needed to offer an alternative lifestyle and crisis intervention if and when they choose to get out of their current situation. By partnering with local community resources and local bodies of believers we are able to provide various levels of exit plans and resources.

TWO - Men's Drop In Center

Provide a safe environment to build trust with men that are sexually exploited and those in need of help.  A non-judgmental place where men can come in and receive basic needs and resources to cultivate life change and a path out of their current environment.

How to help

Volunteer or Provide a Meal at the Women's Center

The Women's Center is open Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:00-6:00 pm Saturdays 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Volunteers are trained how to interact with the women and men who come to the drop in centers and how to help them get the resources offered. Volunteers should arrive one half hour before opening.

You may also come to the Women's Center and Serve a Meal, Donate frozen/pre-cooked meals or Deliver a meal for the volunteers to serve (drop off time is one hour before opening). Meals should be comprised of dinner-type foods that will be filling for our guest with enough for 100 servings.

Sign up through through the link below under the HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP option and select VOLUNTEER or PROVIDE A MEAL.

Organize a Donation Drive

Pick a specific item of need and ask your group/congregation to fill it. This is helpful when high demand items are in low supply. Contact Taylor Prusinski tayprusinski@gmail.com to ask about most needed items or check the Facebook page. Get Involved for the most needed items of the month.

Why Should We Help?

The Gospels record encounters between Jesus and women who were vulnerable or had been victimized. He offered them forgiveness, healing and unconditional love - the resources they needed to drastically change their lives.

Our Drop In centers model the response of Jesus to the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Through offering a meal, clothes, a place to shower and non judgmental care we build the trust needed to offer an alternative lifestyle and crisis intervention if and when they choose to get out of their current situation.
